HOW FREE IS FREE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (FSHS) IN GHANA?

The Free Senior High School (FSHS) program was an excellent decision taken by the previous government on the grounds of Free Progressive Senior High education where parents / guardians were partially paying for the cost involve. As a major campaign promised made in the general election in 2016 by this government, it came to the realization of even a class one pupil that, the next NPP government will indeed implement this flagship program without or with little challenges that can be managed. It is a fact that the beginning of everything is difficult but the degree of promise demonstrated and convinced many that, it’s extremely smooth program to be enrolled. The Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative Africa Office has celebrated the  much anticipated International Children’s Day through a social media awareness  creation.  The International Children’s Day was marked on 20th November yesterday. In a post on Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative’s Africa Office Facebook page,  the office shared some educative rights of children as well as some basic needs  which parents, society and the nation must provide to help the future leaders grow  in peace and sound mind. Other Civil Society Organizations(CSOs) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have marked the day through its Convention on the Rights of the Child  (CRC) whose celebrating its 30th anniversary on championing the goals for the  Rights of the Child. ODA Protests Against DVLA

Online Drivers Association of Ghana in an interview with a local radio station in Accra, Zylofon FM recently, expressed their displeasure against directives from DVLA to register for a sticker license.  This has raised lot murmuring among the online drivers protesting vigorously against the directives.  The online drivers comprising of local and international drivers uses a mobile phone app to access customer commuting services believes the business has issues, where management of these online transport service apps are refusing to adhere to the odds in the business of the local drivers unlike the western drivers using same apps with  a lot profit margin.  The group appealed to the government especially the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana to get his feet stepped into the issue relating to his recent activities on digitization in Ghana.
