RTI Coalition to Name and shame non-compliance

The Coalition of the Right to Information (RTI) is to step up its request for information to monitor institutions that are complying with the Right to Information Act, Act 989. It said the exercise would identify and commend institutions that were complying with the law, and shame those that were doing otherwise. The exercise will culminate into a hall of fame and shame activity where institutions that are complying with the RTI Act will be commended and those that are not will be called out," a Vice Chairperson of the RTI Coalition, Ms Mina Mensah, said at a press conference in Accra yesterday. Call for registrations: Songwriting masterclass in West Africa

The webinar will be facilitated by Vincent Le Carl Berry II, a six-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and producer who has collaborated with international musicians including J Cole,  Akon , Ari Lennox, Babyface, Brandy and Chris Brown. Call for entries: Research papers on traditional musical instruments

  By Lucy Ilado The #HeritageAlive online journal for NGOs within the area of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) is accepting research papers on traditional musical instruments. All papers should be sent to #HeritageAlive editor-in-chief Eivind Falk. #HeritageAlive was launched in 2012 by the  ICH NGO Forum  to provide  UNESCO -accredited NGOs and experts with a platform to share knowledge from fieldwork in communities with practitioners and to learn from each other. So far, the journal has published articles on a variety of subjects such as traditional crafts, festivals and naming practices. The selected articles will be compiled into a book on traditional musical instruments that will be published by the end of 2021.  The articles to be submitted should: Reflect the NGOs' and experts' experiences from the field when working with projects related to musical instruments, making or performing.
